The puppies are progressing very well!  They are now barking to go outside!  They may not always make it but at least they are telling me they have to go! Today they get their first puppy shots and will try to do their Puppy Apptitude testing.

One of the MANY bonuses of a spring/summer litter is people shooting fireworks off a whole month before July 4th... These puppies are unphased... maybe it helps that they eat with a thunderstorm soundtrack in the background... I love my Super Puppy program!


On another very exciting puppy note...  puppies now go outside to try to potty when we wake up and after every meal.  Blue has two times done both parts outside and Chief (green) has two times just pooped...  The others waited until they got back in to do it... that's ok, they are only 6wks old, they have time... :)

Please pass on we currently have two boys available from this litter, as life sometimes happens to us all and their prospective buyers could not get a puppy at this time.

The pups turned 6weeks old yesterday!  Orange so far has an ear up above his brothers!  We had a busy week and took some QUICK stacked photos:

Today the pups turn 5 weeks old!  They went on another field trip today!  While there Kaije's Chandra "Chief" (Green) put one ear up momentarily!  Red boy met his new dad and we are waiting to find out what his name will be!  I also got the "Happy Legs" out to try to get better pictures:

Today was a very exhausting day!!!  The pups went on their first field trip to two new owners homes.  This means their first crate ride!  Then they got to play and play with a bit of sleep, pottying and eating in between.  They showed their cute and fiesty personalities.  After a long and glorious day, we headed home where one of the boys couldn't contain his excitement and pooped allover his brothers...in the crate....in the car...halfway home!  So this also got them their first bath!  Pictures are on facebook, under Moon Gods Litter 1st outing.

It doesn't seem like a month ago this journey began, they have accomplished so much.  They are beginning to teeth, they are very active and you see their brain are working!

They are typical pharaoh hounds in regards to finding food!!!  They love to play and vocalize.  I have had to reconfigure their pen three times to continue stimulating their brains.  They also have a litter box in the pen to beging housebreaking!

Today was a major event!  The pups played ball, some are ironically responding to pee commands.  Meaning, I told them to "go, peepees" and they got out of bed to the potty area and peed.  This was just marking anticipated behavior because they always pee when they get up.  

They played with some toys, including soft ducks and tennis balls.  They have begun teething, and bite inhibition training as begun.  So far, very receptive.

The day turned out very nicely, so they got to go outside for a little bit.  Some were nervous, other very inquisitive, but all came to me when called.  Blue actually pooped outside!!!

The pups are up to three meals of puppy mush a day, and supplemented by Lala in between.

Tomorrow the puppy cam will go on.

So the pups have been quite elusive on the cam this past week, but I was able to get them long enough to attempt stacked photos on 3 week old puppies... YIKES!!!!  See below and also check out their current weights.

Today while I went to work, I opened up the play yard for the puppies which is attached to the whelping box... within 15min of my leaving, I saw on puppy cam, the puppy stampede!!!  they stayed most of the day in the playyard, but occasionally the camera caught a tail heading to bed.  Tomorrow the camera will be facing into the play yard for more fun.

The puppies are also consistently pottying away from their bed which is a nice thing.

Today we did the first testicle check and it appears all the boys have both testicles.  Brown is a maybe though, it felt like they were there, but not positive.  The rest I felt!  Of course as they grow, those other "boys" will go up and down for a bit.  So let's think like New Year's Eve!

The puppies also have their playyard extension added now. They aren't quite out yet, but the whelping box is already proving to be to boring to contain this crew!

I also missed a great photo opportunity as I didn't have my phone with me, but green loves to play with the mini tennis balls, he holds them in his paws and rolls on his back and mouths it...all while smiling!  I also have found they all but blue are suckers for belly rubs!

Tomorrow is puppy cam day!!!

The pups took a trip out of the whelping box across the room to my bed and watched a movie with me today. Most settled in and snuggled.  Since weights are now consisting increasing, I will be weighing them once a week for a while instead of daily.  The puppy cam will be back on on Wednesday and it will be exciting as they are a bunch of wrastling fools...  LOL!

Today the pups received their 2nd worming.  They had their nails dremeled again. Only Yellow protested the most, such a drama king!  I also got new collars for them and some have got some bling!  The pups have begun socializing with kids and all are doing great... they really seek the kids out now too... :D OH and they got their first toys to play with...tiny tennis balls that squeak!  Weights are also holding steady.

Today the puppies turn 2 weeks old.  They are getting so big and progressing so well!  All eyes are open, they are eating one non-Lala meal a day and had solid poop today!  Look at the pictures below to see how quick they are growing:

Today the pups eyes are open!!!  They prefer to still keep them closed most of the time, but when they come to snuggle with you, they open them and look at you.  I really love how laidback this litter appears to be.

Today the paperwork was submitted with AKC and UKC for litter registration.

The puppy cam was on for most of the day and many of you took advantage of that, thank you!  

They are now all about even with their weights in around 2 pounds each.

Today the pups had THREE big events!!  I unfortunately had to go back to work today... :( so I came home to all naked pups!!  Orange is definitely a bad influence on them all!  Then on their neuro stimulus exercises, I saw little blue slits of EYES!!!  Very soon!!!  And last but not least they had their first NON-LALA meal!  They all took to lapping up the rice formula.  Only a few went swimming.  Red thought the concept was to sit in the bowl and eat... :)  See below for pictures.

FEEDING TIME!!!!

Since the puppies have begun wobbling around, I set up a separate potty area in the whelping box.  WELL lo and behold, one actually used it...Superstars!!!  Now if I only knew which one... :/  They got to be on the big screen for all to watch for 3HOURS!!! And during lunch, we even had sound!  Today we had to have a ribbon ceremony as they all have grown out of their ribbons.  No orange didn't get one, he has already made it clear he wasn't wearing one!

Eyes are still closed, but a few of the puppies (Orange, green and yellow) actually walked across the box on all four legs!  When I come to the box, they turn and face me and some smile.  so Noses are working!  They were sound exposed today with great results.  No one flinched or got scared!

OK so another big day - NAILS!!!  All the puppies had their nails dremeled (Nail grinder) and did well.  I did take notes of some of out drama kings... ;)  Thankfully not too many and the more they get it done, the better the will adjust to it.  Eyes not open YET but they are giving kisses.  A very loving group of boys.  Then off course they try suckling different parts like ears, fingers, noses...it's all so cute.
